My wonderful wife Carol and I met here at CHB forty years ago and have served the Lord together as Married partners for twenty eight years. God has blessed us with two precious children, and wonderful memories serving churches in California during late 80’s, and then back to Oregon churches in 1995.

It is not very often that associate pastor’s return to their first church to minister again, but for us it has been a great blessing. We count it a joy and privilege to serve the Lord here at CHB. Carol came to know Jesus here during her teen years and while on staff here in 1983, the church family ordained me to the Gospel ministry. Sometimes God works in mysterious ways.

Carol serves in our children’s ministries and I serve as pastor/teacher-Equipper. God uses me most through my teaching gift to encourage every family member to find peace and love through Jesus Christ, and become a follower of Him.

Our priorities at CHBC are reflected by our church Team activities and ministries:

· “Celebrate Life ” through private and corporate Worship

· Fun Team Activities for all ages and Quality Bible Study groups

· Small Group fellowships in homes and on campus

· Prayer Team Ministry and Sharing Jesus Teams

· Caring for others through Team Mission projects at home and abroad.

· Leader Development Teams

We believe that loving others is a lifestyle and not a program of the church. As a result, sharing the Love and Message of Jesus with others and being a warm and inviting fellowship is core to the values of each of us at College Heights Baptist church.
